Categories: In the Media

Hosted by The Research Center for Japanese Garden Art and Historical Heritage and associated with Kyoto University of Art and Design, program topics range from historical context, design intent, tea ceremonies, Zen practices, Japanese gardens in the modern age and much more. In addition to lectures by acclaimed prominent scholars, specialized tours have been arranged to various gardens and temples in Kyoto with a behind the door look at these world heritage sites. Especially unique to this program is the hands-on experience participants gain during training sessions with specialized Japanese gardeners.

“I am ecstatic to have this incredible opportunity to attend the seminar and be able to visit these profoundly beautiful gardens.”
